Well -- Customer's data restored, my own server upgrade done, and I'm back to blogging.

A customer managed to destroy about 50 gigs of data and found out their backups were 90 days out of date -- that took some real effort to clean up. Then I had my own server to upgrade. If you notice this site moving a bit faster, its gone from an old dual P3 700mhz machine to a new P4 3ghz hyperthreading one. Now I can get back to work on those big data munching projects without having to wait for the darn thing.
Changes will be evident here soon -- including a more topic aggregation style designed to let you skip the kinds of topics that don't interest you, and maybe even create a customized RSS feed or email notification with only those topic areas you like.
