Gab and I aren considering putting a security class together
By Andrew Pollack on 12/05/2008 at 02:46 PM ESTGab is here and we're working on our Security Jumpstart. If you've been to this before, you know that we cram an insane amount of information -- an attempt at virtually everything security related in Notes & Domino -- into a 2 hour overview.
This year, in the same time, we have to add information about the new file server based roaming, ID Vaults, and the new workstation Single Sign-on features.
We've come to the realization that if we took this and really gave a full level attention to each piece instead of a functional overview and a reference to the sessions where you can learn more detail on each, it would run about two full days. Even giving it a serious overview that is comprehensible is a real challenge in a jumpstart time scale.
I'm wondering -- so I'm asking here -- Is there is market support for a class based on this? If you could have Gab & I come in and do a two full day security class, possibly followed on by a review of your current environment and specific recommendations, would your company be interested?
