Even if you're not going to LS, don't miss seeing the Opening General Session
By Andrew Pollack on 01/16/2008 at 11:40 AM ESTThis year you're going to see the payoff for all that work and all the overhead associated with running Notes 8 in Eclipse. Usually, either live or shortly after, there is a way to view the Lotusphere Opening General Session. Do not miss this year's OGS. The Notes 8.0 client has a huge potential for new stuff, but you're not seeing too much use of it just yet. I liken it to having a brand new high end sports car that came with a governor set to 55 miles per hour.
This year you'll get to see the payoff showing through. I think those who's schedule has them seeing the OGS second and the Salon first instead, will know when some of the Demo's of near term features are being done. The crowd noise will come through the walls and across the corridors like the 9pm fireworks at EPCOT.

This is not quite a scam because it's technically legal, but it's run very much like a scam. This company works with a few "clients" that have vast repositories of copyrighted images.
