Just configured SSL on my server
By Andrew Pollack on 02/12/2004 at 05:00 PM ESTGeez, in all this time the template design for SSL certificate management in notes has not gotten better. Its a horrible process. I signed up as a reseller for an ssl certificate firm and I think I'm going to create an online service just for Domino admins. The idea is you go to the site, plug in a screen or two of information, put in your credit card, and a day or so later (once the SSL people validate you are who you say you are) you get back a complete domino keyfile and keyfile stash (two small files) to stick in your Domino data directly. Then just turn on SSL in your server document and you're done. 50 bucks and an hour's time and any Domino admin can have a secure server.

I may have some need of your services later in the year, depending on customer requirements.
Currently, I was looking at handling payments through a third party payment processor which would handle the SSL once our site passes order info... but you never know when someone is going to want a home grown solution that requires SSL.

Just so you know, the point above wasn't to solicit sales or anything.
Do a search on "Instant SSL" and you can see that for 50 bucks a year you can get a certicificate and all the stuff you need is on your Domino server. Its just a PIA.

Oh, I saw 'reseller' and thought you were going to be doing this on the side and thought, hey, if I'm going to spend money, might as well help the domino community.
