Site is moving -- should be faster, could be some minor interruption
By Andrew Pollack on 09/27/2005 at 12:54 PM EDTI'm making some important infrastructure changes here this week. This server will be hosted on a high speed machine at a tier 1 provider. Within a week or two, I'll also have a hot standby in place. This is to accommodates a need for increased reliability to a level I cannot achieve even here with my standby generator and so on.
If all goes perfectly, you won't notice a thing. Don't count on it. In a few days I'll post the specifics on what and why I'm making this change when I've been hosting my own servers for so many years.
