Hello everybody.
I'm a bit south of my usual haunts. I'm doing a two day client visit as a subject matter expert on a site review project. I'm finding myself at what by all observations looks like a really successful classic Lotus Notes environment. More than 10,000 users who in general are happy, impressed, and making daily use of a highly fault tolerant Lotus Domino infrastructure. A small enough team to not even fill the conference room is handling the mail and collaboration needs of all those users without breaking a sweat.
I won't talk about who the client is, or name the exact numbers -- suffice it to say that even though its my job to find potential problems here, its been a pleasure doing the review. This is a group of people who know and understand the product, and they're making users happy with it at a fraction of what it would cost in any other way.
