wow, that is pretty amazing ... wonder how it works in real life
Well, looking at how it works, it makes senseBy Andrew Pollack on 12/22/2006 at 09:47 AM EST
If you read further in the site, one of the FAQs points to someone's question
about getting no sound at all. The answer was that if the sensor on the inside
surface is not touching the skin of your face, you'll get no sound at all.

Apparently through some conduction mechanism they are able to determine exactly
when you are speaking and use that information to differentiate your voice from
the outside ambient noise.

Very cool.

Here are some sensible rules for web site advertisingAn increasing number of websites are now detecting when users have ad-blocking enabled, and refuse to show content unless you "whitelist" their site (disable your ad-blocking for them). I think that is a fair decision on their part, it's how they pay for the site. However, if you want me (and many others) to white list your site, there are some rules you should follow. If you violate these rules, I won't whitelist your site, I'll just find content elsewhere. 1. The total space taken up by advertisements ......
