The 2009 C.U.L.T. Shirt Top Ten List - Submit Your Ideas Now!

By Andrew Pollack on 12/14/2008 at 10:37 AM EST

This year's theme is "Three Delicious Flavors"

I'm really late in getting this done -- and Rocky and I talked several times about what to make for a top ten list. We had a breakthrough that seemed brilliant to both of us, but then we didn't write it down so its gone complete. You're stuck with what we can remember. Even worse, you're stuck with what I can recall of what we remember.

Here's the list:

"Top Ten Slogans or Statements Not Chosen for Notes 8.5 Data Sheets"

Some Examples:

* Designer Sold Separately
100% WAS Free!
Not just for Windows Any More
It's Bigger & Stronger -- We're Working on Faster
Brought to you by the DRAM Manufacturers Consortium
A Symphony of Wholesome Plug-In Goodness

I'm sure you guys can do better.

- We are #2! We are #2! (since they had so much trouble trumpeting when we
were #1, maybe this would be easier for IBMers)

- Total Eclipse of the Heart

- Yes We Can! (hey, it worked for Barack Obama)

- Download the Internet to Your Desktop - Hard drive upgrade may be required.

- Bail out IBM - buy Notes!

- Notes 8.5 - 640GB out to be big enough for anybody!

Printing extra.

It might be expensive, but it sure is slow!

Free license to the first person who can find notes.css

ID Vault yes, SuperEgo Vault, "limited availability"

Might make you crazy, but at least it won't get you laid

The best Notes ever! (Biggest = best, right?)

One step closer to Workplace.

The swiss army knife of application servers - now with even more blades to cut
yourself on!

Built just for you... because we build the stuff we use on WAS/DB2 now.

Because "proprietary" sounds better than "legacy".

What we know is that a user's authorizations will be respected through the node.js application to the Domino server -- including reader names, ACLs, Roles, and so on. The way ......

This piece of garbage is supposed to be a bearing. It carries the shaft which drives both stages of the auger. The shaft passes through the bearing (which is what bearings do) after the auger drive pulley as the shaft goes through the back (engine ......
