Someone is picking on Gab. Not fair!

By Andrew Pollack on 01/10/2008 at 08:01 PM EST

Gab Davis, who is one of the most gifted Domino admins within our light cone has made a resolution to blog more. Only a few days in, some "Friend" (as if) has told her she should "tighten up" her style. Apparently this person thinks she should write less and edit more.

Go check out Gab's blog and help us give feedback to whoever this person is, that they need to go get their own blog, and leave Gab free to say what's on her mind. I think if this person would give less advice, and spend more time reading her bog, they'd learn something.

I really appreciate the support although feel sorry for my friendBy Gab Davis on 01/11/2008 at 05:44 AM EST
He was just trying to give me constructive advice but it's really nice
(although honestly not necessary this time) to be encouraged by the community
in my ramblings. I'm sure you will all soon rue the day you did that.....

Dear Gab,
We all have people that are envious of others and have bad adverse thoughts.
Too bad for them, a burden they'll have to carry, a much smaller burden for you
as you have great insight and are always helpful.

Just keep doing what you are doing and don't let the other "friend" enter your
thoughts.

I know we all appreciate you. I've loved your presentations and insight,
always helpful.

Thanks,

John

Here are some sensible rules for web site advertisingAn increasing number of websites are now detecting when users have ad-blocking enabled, and refuse to show content unless you "whitelist" their site (disable your ad-blocking for them). I think that is a fair decision on their part, it's how they pay for the site. However, if you want me (and many others) to white list your site, there are some rules you should follow. If you violate these rules, I won't whitelist your site, I'll just find content elsewhere. 1. The total space taken up by advertisements ......
