I saw a couple of other people giving this a shot and I thought it might be a good, simple way to improve my strength so I've started their simple (free) program.
Take a look at the Hundred Pushups Challenge for more information. The initial test is just as simple as doing a series of good, honest pushups and counting them up. Compare this on a chart for your age, and you get the initial ranking.
For my age, I come out in "Rank 3" to start with -- so that's got me starting about a third of the way through the program. Keep in mind, that's doing the initial test with true push-ups in good form and quick succession. It doesn't help to cheat in a self test.
I'll try to remember to post progress on the blog -- maybe that will keep me doing the program.
