Blogging Respite - A long couple of weeks
By Andrew Pollack on 08/28/2008 at 04:52 PM EDTJust a heads up. Its been a long week or so between the unexpected kitchen remodeling, and some other things that took too much of my time. On top of all that, This week the kids are home from all summer programs but school hasn't yet restarted. That's been true for two weeks but this week is my turn to "stay home" from work to watch them. Ari made her Junior Varsity soccer team and has been having either two practices a day or a practice and a game every day for two weeks -- and she needs a ride to and from each of course.
Anyway, I'm putting my nose back to the grindstone so you should see more regular posts from me again. Just in time too. Public Beta 2 of Notes 8.5 is due out any time now, and I think a lot of people are going to get pretty excited by it.

- 11/20/2008Fairly large project put on hold -- looking for something interesting to work onIn the course of the last month, I've had two fairly good sized projects either scale way back or get put on indefinite hold. Sign of the times? In one case it is related to the economy so I guess you can say that. In the other case its a fairly typical thing where the people who want the work done got stopped by the I.T. department who wants to do it themselves with different (though as yet undefined) technology.
