Grow. The. Hell. Up.

By Andrew Pollack on 07/20/2009 at 10:44 PM EDT

You know who you are. All of you. On all sides. You are behaving like stupid, spoiled children. You're not winning people over to your sides, you're turning people off and reducing the chances that anyone who's watching will ever want to do business with you.

Enough said.

I agree completely Andrew - it's puerile, depressing and frankly I don't
appreciate being dragged into other people's fights even peripherally. I've
got work to do.

I think it's safe to say your point has been missed by those who should heed it

I'm glad I'm not involved, even peripherally. I wouldn't want my name anywhere
near this debacle.

I'm not following the drama around openntf, but it does seem like a really good

particular spin of this rule, Andrew. The comic strip Shoe once offered the 3
Up Self-Improvement program: Shut up, Grow Up and Lighten Up

  2. 04/20/2016Want to be whitelisted? Here are some sensible rules for web site advertisingAn increasing number of websites are now detecting when users have ad-blocking enabled, and refuse to show content unless you "whitelist" their site (disable your ad-blocking for them). I think that is a fair decision on their part, it's how they pay for the site. However, if you want me (and many others) to white list your site, there are some rules you should follow. If you violate these rules, I won't whitelist your site, I'll just find content elsewhere. 1. The total space taken up by advertisements ......
