Domino 7.0.3 in Production

By Andrew Pollack on 10/25/2007 at 09:05 AM EDT
Just a quick heads up on the newly released Domino 7.0.3. I've had it up in production for several days. All is well. Performance may be improved. Of most value to me is the ability to reduce the time a users credentials are kept in cache. Since new users to Second Signal get added to groups as they join departments, updating the cache sooner has a distinct impact on their experience. This should also help with password changes and password refreshes (user forgets password so a new one is sent) being active more quickly.

That is a nice fix, I hadn't heard about it before and wasn't able to find it
on the fix list.
Could you shed some extra light on the solution?

Is it just an INI parameter? How does it work?

See the setting on the server definition document covering the http server
cache. I believe you will have to update the design of the Domino Directory to
the 7.0.3 template.

Thanks to the fantastic work by John Curtis and his team, the node.js integration with Domino is going to be getting a rich security model. What we know is that a user's authorizations will be respected through the node.js application to the Domino server -- including reader names, ACLs, Roles, and so on. The way ......

This piece of garbage is supposed to be a bearing. It carries the shaft which drives both stages of the auger. The shaft passes through the bearing (which is what bearings do) after the auger drive pulley as the shaft goes through the back (engine ......
