Greetings from Orlando!

By Andrew Pollack on 01/17/2008 at 11:36 PM EST

Here's the story in Orlando.....

#1. I'm here, and you're not (well most of you).

#2. It's very hot here. This evening, dihydrogen monoxide (DHMO) fell from the sky in LIQUID form! I'm fortunate to have gotten under cover before being burned.

#3. It could be the heat, but I think something terrible has happened to the snow here. It all green and fuzzy -- like its covered with some kind of mold. I think the heat and humidity have caused it to go bad. Maybe they can get it all nice and clean and white by the time you folks get down here.

Aside from the strange green snow and hideously dangerous free falling liquid DHMO, things are good here. I'm in a hotel near the airport, and have pre-programmed my Garmin NUVI 350 with the locations of the Penske truck rental, the UPS Cargo Depot, and the Yach & Beach Club hotel; and will be making the pickup first thing in the morning.

Not dihydrogen monoxide!!! Will it even be safe to walk between the Swan and
Dolphin?!!! ;-)

And what's this about the snow? Damn you, global warming...damn you!

Welcome to Florida. At this point I'm guessing that you've already called a
real estate agent back home to put the house up for sale. Meanwhile you're
trying to figure out what part of Florida to move to.

I like the panhandle myself. In any case I had to move here. The winters in
Atlanta were killing me.

Be careful with the DHMO Andrew, if you get too much of it in your lungs it can
kill you!

Thanks to the fantastic work by John Curtis and his team, the node.js integration with Domino is going to be getting a rich security model. What we know is that a user's authorizations will be respected through the node.js application to the Domino server -- including reader names, ACLs, Roles, and so on. The way ......

This piece of garbage is supposed to be a bearing. It carries the shaft which drives both stages of the auger. The shaft passes through the bearing (which is what bearings do) after the auger drive pulley as the shaft goes through the back (engine ......
