To our shock and amazement, Nathan T. Freeman....
By Andrew Pollack on 07/10/2008 at 10:38 PM EDT...is no longer a candidate for the Darwin award. His wife (and what a saint she must be!) has been able to summon the patience to provide him an heir. Soon, the first of Nathan's progeny will begin its own exploits.
Now that the Freeman genetic transfer project has forked, one can hope for a better result with the new code. Having briefly met Nathan's wife, we can at least look forward to a much improved User Interface on the new model.
Best of luck to Mother and Child. They're going to need it.

having known Nathan during his high school days, my thoughts are with the
future classmates of Version 2. Prior to that, it should be pretty damn
amusing to watch probably the most rational person I have ever met try to deal
with a toddlers interpretations of 'no.'
