...Well, there are two reasons I guess. The first is to put a bit of warning out there for those of you who haven't yet gotten back to me about the spots you want on the CULT shirts for Lotusphere 2009. We are probably going to do less shirts overall this year, but they're going to be good fun. We're overdue posting the Top 10 list, but that will happen within days. If you haven't contacted me yet, but plan to sponsor -- your time is running out.

I'm headed to Phoenix now with my oldest daughter. She's 15 now, and one of the cool things I get to do this weekend is to introduce her to one of my oldest friends. Jenny and I have been friends since about 15 years old. Introducing her to my 15 year old daughter is really a kick. Even more so, because Ari is just the kind of person who would have been part of our group in school. She's a reflection of how we were at that age -- only much more together than we were. How cool is that?

Of course, the other reason to squeeze this blog in, is because Ed is two posts ahead of me on Planet Lotus. I don't usually care, but my ranting this past week have put me in a higher than usual spot, and I figured there'd be no real harm in just being a blatant ASW just this once as a bit of a tease. Every once in a while this just strikes me as funny. I guess it doesn't matter to me all the much that most of you probably don't agree. Oh, and yes, I realize that if Ed posts absolutely anything withe the words Notes, Domino, Blackberry, or Lotusphere in it that my little fun will come to a very fast end as all six of my readers (well, 5, because one of the six is my mother) are also going to read anything he posts along with the 20,000 others of you out there.
