Lotus Domino 7 beta M2 - So far, awesome

I haven't done performance testing yet, but I've been running the server along with the trial DB2 and the client, designer, and admin all in a Windows 2000 Pro "Generic" virtual machine under vmware on my hotrod development pc. So far, no crashes, no errors, and all features are working as advertised. Enabling the Domino server for DB2 storage took all of about 5 minutes using the provided configuration tool built into the admin client.
I'm only just beginning to give it a work out, but I'm giving real thought to cutting over at least some production work to it. There are some features I think I'm really going to like on the client side -- the "quick followup" will fit nicely with how I work if I understand it right. I must say I'm not a huge fan of all the "awareness" built into everything -- its not a problem so much as a feature I don't understand for many of the places it ends up.
Further experimentation may prove otherwise.

This is not quite a scam because it's technically legal, but it's run very much like a scam. This company works with a few "clients" that have vast repositories of copyrighted images.
