Ho Ho Ho --- Holiday CSS colors on this site now.

By Andrew Pollack on 12/13/2007 at 11:24 PM EST

[Updated 12/14/2007 at 23:55] - I couldn't take it any more. I've decided to roll out some new design a little early.

I recommend squinting a bit, and maybe shielding your eyes. Nathan in particular may be off his lunch for a while after viewing.

The whole point of CSS was that you could over lay different looks without rebuilding the site. I thought I'd give it a try tonight. Maybe I'll give up on it and go back really soon.

There are  - loading -  comments....

Well, I like the colors. You won't get many comments, though.

Try and add one - you'll see (or NOT) why.
Thanks for the heads up.By Andrew Pollack on 12/14/2007 at 10:37 AM EST

  2. 04/20/2016Want to be whitelisted? Here are some sensible rules for web site advertisingAn increasing number of websites are now detecting when users have ad-blocking enabled, and refuse to show content unless you "whitelist" their site (disable your ad-blocking for them). I think that is a fair decision on their part, it's how they pay for the site. However, if you want me (and many others) to white list your site, there are some rules you should follow. If you violate these rules, I won't whitelist your site, I'll just find content elsewhere. 1. The total space taken up by advertisements ......
